JOHN-PAUL GRANATA has been in practice since 1988 in Sydney and is now living on the Central Coast and has established a hypnotherapy practice on the scenic central coast..
In his practice John-Paul follows mainly that form of hypnotherapy that is known as "PSH" or Private Subconscious-Mind Healing. He is a graduate of the first PSH course conducted in Australia in 1994.
In 1988 he earned a Diploma in Medical Herbalism after three years of study with the renowned Master Herbalist and Teacher Denis L Stewart, Proprieter and Director of Studies of Southern Cross Herbal School in Gosford.
John-Paul has also completed certificate courses in Homoeopathy and, in appropriate cases, combines the use of these remedies with herbs or sometimes uses them as alternate treatment to herbs.
He is a Full Clinical Member of the oldest hypnotherapy association in Australia,
the Australian Hypnotherapists Association which was formed in 1949 and is a
member of its' Federal Executive Committee.
He is also a Full Clinical Member and Committee Member of the hypnotherapy association, Professional Clinical Hypnotherapists of Australia Incorporated.
John-Paul is also a fully Accredited Member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society Ltd.
The areas of emotional healing he primarily deals with are lack of self-confidence, low self esteem, stress, anxiety, fears and phobias. He works with people who want help to quit smoking and overcome alcohol problems. He has also done quite a lot of work with High School seniors and Tertiary students to help them study more effectively and to cope better at exam time.
